It is so hard to find cute unisex fabric for babies. When I do come across some, I end up buying a ton of it. This is an Alexander Henry cotton fabric that I found that I think is so stinkin' cute!! I think it is a great for a boy or girl, modern and vintage at the same time, and the blanket with the bib and burp set make the perfect complete baby gift. For any baby...:)

Monogrammed baby gift set

Love this new set! This set includes a chenille bib and burpcloth with a coordinating onesie. The onesie has a single initial on the front, perfect to introduce anyone into this big wide world. I have been designing these for boys and girls in a wide range of colors. Please see my Etsy site for upcoming listings of the monogrammed baby gift set perfect for your little one!

the basics

One of the first things I started making was bib and burpcloth sets. After trying out a couple designs, tie and velcro, side closure or back, big or little. I came to what I believe is the perfect set for any newborn. The neck on the bib actually will fit into the toddler years, but when they begin to feed, I think a feeder bib works a whole lot better. I make my sets from super soft chenille and flannel usually. Lately, I have been trying to use up all the flannel and use strictly cottons. There is a much better fabric selection and of course, you can make clothes to match! :) I still stuggle with fun boy fabrics, but switching to cotton has allowed for some new prints. Finally!

Custom Onesie

Recently a lady contacted me through Etsy and asked if I could make a onesie to match a pair of shoes that she was giving as a gift. The shoes to start out with were totally adorable, which made this even more fun. I love to do things like this, something in me loves the challenge. So, here is the link to the for the shoes...they are all cute and very reasonable.

and there is the onesie...she also wanted the little girls name on it as well. What a thoughtful, unique gift!

Monogrammed gift sets

Monogramming is huge right now for boys or girls. This is a set custom created for a customer that has a new little one on her gift list. These would also be great done in a unisex fabric with the family's last initial on it, for those of us that can wait to find out the sex! The set includes an embellished onesie, a chenille burpcloth and an embellished chenille bib. The letters are available in black or white and hold up to multiple washings.
